Ms. Bismirty Bhuyan is an experienced Rehabilitation and Child Psychologist, committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to children and individuals with diverse psychological needs. An RCI-approved practitioner and gold medallist in M.Phil. Rehabilitation Psychology from NIEPID, she also holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Banaras Hindu University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D. from Jain (Deemed-to-be) University.
With over five years of experience in clinical and academic settings, she has worked extensively with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional-behavioral concerns. She formerly served as Head of Department and Assistant Professor at Amity University, Bengaluru, where she led teaching and training in cognitive psychology, assessment, and mental health interventions.
Currently practicing at Stepcare, Whitefield, Bengaluru, Ms. Bhuyan focuses on individualized assessments and therapy plans designed to support developmental, emotional, and behavioral growth. A published author in Scopus and UGC Care journals, she blends empathy, structure, and clinical skill to help children and families navigate challenges and build lasting resilience.
